BCWF (Dave Marriott 3)

BCWF Orange 2 BCWF Red 1

Having gone behind to a Fred Scholes goal for 'Reds' the result was sealed for the Orange team with two good finishes from Dave Marriott, he was denied his hat-trick by a great block save from Grimes (GK), a good game with both sets of players competing at good levels.

BCWFL 60s Reds Regional Festival (24/2/19)

Reds started well with a determined draw against Midlands.

Well structured performance from the team with Mo Hussaine

getting the goal in a 1-1 draw.

England had plenty of play but found the Reds in a determined mood, the game had quality but 'no goals'.

With two good draws the final round-robin game saw League teammates taking each other on, it was the Orange's who took the win with 2 good finishes from Dave Marriott, an entertaining game with Scholes giving the Reds an early lead, chances for both sides during the game.

Thanks to Alan Heath (Asst Coach) for his great work and all the players for their support and effort.

Referee's Nigel Genner, Keith Parfitt, Ian Davies & Jim Dale did a great job officiating.

Kim Watkin was thanked for another wonderful buffet & Bedworth Uniteds 3G facility drew great praise.

Special thanks to ALL the BCWF West Midlands League Committee for making the day a GOOD ONE!
